Brooklyn-based blogger James Jean is one of our favorite local style stars. Inspired by hip-hop and street fashion, James always manages to hit a unique personal style note that mixes the worlds of dressy and casual — an aesthetic he seeks out when shooting for his own street style blog, The Mod Revival.
James hit up a holiday house party in Brooklyn's Bed Stuy neighborhood , where handmade ornaments, chocolate truffles and a 12-foot Christmas tree were just a few highlights from the evening.
Giving his typically dapper vibe a holiday spin, James opted for a festive shaggy shetland sweater that pops in bright green. A trad button-down in red and green tartan paired with vintage-inspired cords completes the heritage feel.
