Last night we caught the Choir of Young Believers show at Union Hall in Brooklyn. If you don’t know this band already, you want to. Their excellent debut album, This Is for the White in Your Eye, is one of our favorites of the year, and seeing this Danish group perform in Union Hall’s tiny basement just reinforced the love. The album was nominated for six Danish Grammys and won COYB the “Best New Act” award, but stateside they’re still relatively unknown, which means you can still see them do intimate performances in small venues. (They play another New York show tonight at Pianos before heading to Austin for SXSW.) Click through for a free download.
